Poppies, Heroin, and Continued Conflict

The societal problem you listened to in the article about Russia stems from drugs trafficked from which country? How does this trafficking create a problem for the government and people of the United States?

    The drugs trafficked from Afghanistan. The United States and Afghanistan are allies. In 2005, we tremendously helped them rebuild their country from previous damage. Due to us being allies, other countries might think that we could be helping them pay for the drugs or even be the ones providing them with the drugs. This could possibly result in war if Russia thinks that we are the reason behind their problems.

    heroin was trafficked from afghanistan. this could ruin america's reputation with russia because russia, as well as other countries in the world, could accuse us of supplying afghanistan with their heroin along with any other kind of drug.
